Dobles parejas (Double couples) is a comedy that ironically shows the falsity of the social and marital relationships, which can only achieve a sort of hypocritical peace through secrecy and lies. As in a game of poker, it's all about not giving away too much, in order to stay veiled, unless the truth ultimately causes a huge explosion of laughter.
