Jaime Pujol directs this adaptation of Molière's comedy Wise women, one of his most popular works and premiered at the Théâtre du Palais-Royal in 1672. It is a scathing satire through which Molière ridicules academic aspirations in female education of the time and throws his darts against abbot Cotin.
Metaphor and playfulness of Dones sàvies, set in the Paris of the 20s, faces disguised materialism of science and philosophy with pure and honest love, to finish exposing the false gurus of Culture.
This production of the Teatre Principal de Palma and the Auditori d'Alcúdia, which today previews, is interpreted by Caterina Alorda, Lina Mira, Joan Carles Bestard, Nando González, Neus Cortés, Xavi Nunez, Maria Bauçà, Jordi Cumellas, Enric de las Heras and Apol·lònia Serra.
