This particular duo is formed by Cuban cellist Amparo del Riego and Argentine-Italian guitarist Víctor Pellegrini. They offer a repertoire of music from Latin America and Europe.
Amparo del Riego is licensed in cello by the Higher Institute of Art of Cuba and member of the National Union of Writers and Artists of Cuba. Se composed the trios José White, Tempori and Bernal Giménez, as well as acting as a soloist with symphonic orchestras from Cuba, Mexico, El Salvador, Puerto Rico, Switzerland and the Czech Republic, among others. She has an extensive discography and has served as a teacher in Cuba and Mexico.
For his part, Víctor Pellegrini has offered concerts in the most prestigious venues in Europe and America. He has obtained important prizes in international competitions and develops an intense teaching work in Cuba and Mexico and offers master classes around the world.
In 2013 the Victor Pellegrini International Guitar Competition was held in Lausanne (Switzerland) and has an important discography in Cuba, Italy and Puerto Rico.
