The new proposal of the XXXIII Festival Antoni Lliteres is the presentation of the album Bouquet d'impression, by the flutist Eduard Belmar Jordà and the pianist Yuko Mitzutani. The album includes works by Philippe Gaubert, Claude Debussy, André Caplet and Mélanie Bonis.
The Mallorcan Eduard Belmar Jordà completed his higher studies at the Higher National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris. He later he obtained a master's degree at the Hochschule für Musik in Stuttgart and continued his studies at the Hochschule für Musik in Basel.
In 2012 he received the first prize at the Andalucía Flute International Competition in Córdoba, in 2014 the third prize at the Concorso Internationale S.Gazzelloni in Italy and a year later the third prize at the prestigious ARD International Competition in Munich. Eduard Belmar Jordà is currently a flutist with the Frankfurt Opera Orchestra and professor at the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst Frankfurt am Main.
Japanese pianist Yuko Mitzutani graduated from the prestigious Tokyo-Geijutsu Daigaku. In the 1990s she moved to Germany, where she continued to perfect her studies at the Staatlichen Hochschule für Musik Freiburg im Breisgau.
Throughout her career, she has won numerous awards and accolades, from the honorary award at the Tokyo Young Japanese Performers Competition and the Kirishima International Festival to being awarded best accompaniment pianist at the Intercentres Melomano national performance competition in 2008 and 2010.
