Comienzo (Beginning, 2014) is the last album of this rock-pop group from Malaga that now reaches the Parc de la Mar of Palma in a concert of cadena100. Efecto Mariposa began in 2001 with the publication of their album with the same name, with which they achieved great success in Spain and Mexico for their single Sola.
After that came Metamorfosis, published in 2003 and reissued in 2004 with four new songs. In 2009 they released their sixth album, 40:04, Cadena Dial Award for best album of the year. For Quererte, the presentation single, they received the Top 40 Award.
Currently, the group consists of Susana Alva (vocals), Frasco G. Ridgway (bass) and Alfredo Baón (drums).
