emParaular 2018

The Ajuntament de Manacor promotes the second edition of emParaular, a festival of oral narration that brings together fourteen scenic proposals that can be seen for free from 12 to 15 September in different areas of Manacor.

Very diverse and original proposals that claim oral narration and that have as a common link the power of the word.

8:00 p.m. Conference: Els viatges de la paraula, by Antònia Soler, doctor in Classical Philology. Municipal Library of Manacor

9:30 p.m. Dramatized reading of Nandi, by Toni-Lluís Reyes, Premi Ciutat de manacor of Teatre 2017. Carried out by the actors Enka Alonso, Xavi Frau and Guillem Roman. Address: Llàtzer García. Claustre of Sant Vicenç Ferrer

8:00 p.m. Show: Llibràlegs. De tot menys amor: allò que pot o no passar en una biblioteca, created in the framework of the festival Temporada alta. Interpreted by the actresses and narrators Meritxell Yanes and Cristina Cervià. Municipal Library of Manacor

8:00 p.m. Show: Veus i versos. Improvisation. A particular combate de picado between poets Damià Rotger and Antònia Font and glosadores Maribel Servera and Macià Ferrer from texts by Antoni M. Alcover. Conducted and moderated by Antoni Riera. Alcover Institute

Saturday 15

11:00 h. Dictat popular: Toni-Lluís Reyes dictates Pompeu Fabra, on the occasion of the Any Pompeu Fabra 2018 that commemorates the 150th anniversary of the birth of the author of the orthographic, grammatical and lexical regulations of contemporary Catalan. 12:30 h. Emparaul'art. Event with word, art and music. Claustre de Sant Vicenç Ferrer

6:00 p.m. Route: Històries a tres bandes. It will depart from the Plaza de sa Bassa with the show Diari d'un indígena, by Llonovoy; will continue with Recuento, which will be interpreted by Maísa Marbán; to end with El terrible plaer de viatjar, a handful of stories that will be told by Assumpta Mercader. 9:00 p.m. Route: D'històries, viatges i cultures. A Free tour of Manacor that will be guided by the collective Tres Potes and will part from the Plaza del Rector Rubí. The shows are: Sobre vientos y viajes, by Maísa Marbán, narrator and director of Ávila de cuento; La història de la més bella i d’altres histories, interpreted by Víctor Uwagba; and Intercanvi de parelles i altres contes by Roald Dahl, which will feature Assumpta Mercader accompanied by violinist Núria Robert.
