'Encounters with the look'

This exhibition is the result of the project that Rif Spahni and Issa Watanabe have carried out with seven users of the Hospital Area of Mental Health Gesma between 27 March and 12 July 2012, under the coordination of the Department of Education of Es Baluard.

Its aim is to reflect on one's own identity through photography and artistic creation. To do this, they established three phases: an approach to visual language based on the analysis of works by contemporary artists; shooting images in different spaces of Palma using three slogans (the self, the space and the object) and finally, the editing of the work realized.
