Third event of the Chopin Festival of Valldemossa, which presents this consecrated Serbian pianist, with American nationality, who is one of the referents in the interpretation of Chopin music.
Eugen Indjic was born in 1947 in Belgrade to a Russian mother and a father who was general in the army of Peter II of Yugoslavia. He discovered music listening to Fantasie-Impromptu and Chopin's Great Polonaise and began playing piano at age 8.
He has performed in major venues all over the world and published albums with the most prestigious orchestras and in 2010 he was named artist in residence of the Prague Symphony Orchestra. He also develops an academic facet, giving lectures throughout Europe.
