In Maratxí four families preserve the old mills to make almond milk and keep the Majorcan tradition of making this traditional Christmas sweet alive. Two of these families prepare more than 250 liters of llet d'ametla (almond milk) during the fair held this Sunday to be enjoyed by the attendees.
There will also be stalls with crafts, antique car shows and exhibition of animals, storytelling and a parade with cabezudos (big heads) accompanied by the xeremiers of the City Council of Marratxí. These activities will take place in the church square of Es Pla de Na Tesa and surroundings.
