Fairgrounds with Jeff Ballard, closes the festival

The Alcudia Jazz Festival closed this year with American Jeff Ballard (California, 1963), a drummer who has had the privilege of playing with some of the best jazz musicians of recent decades. He spent three years touring with Ray Charles and shared projects with Chick Corea, Pat Metheny, Brad Mehldau (replacing Jorge Rossy) and saxophonist Joshua Redman, among others.

In this concert the formation of Jeff Ballard comes with the name Fairgrounds, of which also form part Lionel Loueke (guitar) and Anders Christensen (bass).
