Festa des Sequer 2018

In this fiesta the protagonist is the fig, one of the most typical and abundant products of Lloret de Vistalegre. This fruit, considered in Ancient Greece as a delicacy of the gods, is present in art exhibitions, book presentations, the extensive range of stands (fresh figs, dried figs, jam, fig ice cream, fig coca ...) and the Figatapa, which offers pinchos and tapas made with figs in the bars of Lloret.

The day of the fiesta is Saturday, September 1, but the program begins on Sunday, August 26, with different activities related to this delicious fruit.

6:00 p.m. Release of fireworks and receival of authorities in front of the town hall building
6:00 p.m. Receival of the Figueralers jovenes and proclamation of the fiesta.. Collection of the Figueralers majors and parades with the Figueralers jovenes, Gegants Figueralers Domingo i Loreto, Brocalet group, Susuros isleños of Gran Canaria and authorities accompanied by the xeremiers
7:00 p.m. Inauguration of the following exhibitions:

Mercadet Gastronòmic, where tapas will be put on sale made with figs as the main ingredient. Plaça de l'Església i Sa Riba. Throughout the fair there will be tasting of fresh and dried figs

Starting at 7:00 p.m. Figatapa Sale of pinchos and tapas made with figs in all the bars of Lloret: Es Fasser, Es Pou Nou, Ca'n Putxet and Poliesportiu.
8:00 p.m. Representation of the Quedo and Mostra de ball de bot and dance with the  groups Susurros isleños (Gran Canaria) and Agrupació Cultural Brocalet. Plaça Jaume I
22:00 h. Popular dance with the groups Brocalet and Sa Torre. Plaça Jaume I
