Festes del Carme- Port de Pollença 2017

The maritime essence of Port of Pollença is the protagonist of the Festes del Carme, patron saint of fishermen and sailors. They are held from July 7 to 16 , with a large number of activities for all tastes and ages.

Friday, July 7:
9:00 p.m. Pregón Navegant cap al demà by Joan Suau Xumet. Church of the Mare de Déu del Carme.
10:00 p.m. Concert by Ensemble Lumière. Esplanade of the church of Mare de Déu del Carme.

Saturday 8 July:
9:00 p.m. V Popular marine race. Sightseeing
11:30 p.m. V Marine party with Deejays Grup. Plaça de Miquel Capllonch

Sunday, July 9
8:30 p.m. Dance payés by the group Aires de la Cala. Explanada of the church of Mare de Déu del Carme.
10:00 p.m. Coffee concert Dos pajaros a tiro. Plaça de Miquel Capllonch

Monday, July 10
6:30 p.m. Children's circus, with the performance of three artists of the association Cap de Fibló
10:30 p.m. Pasacalles with the giants of Pollença, Esbart de Sant Jordi and the xeremiers Orats. Concentration: Plaça de Miquel Capllonch

Tuesday, July 11
7:00 p.m. Popular games. For children from 5 to 12 years. Poliesportiu Port of Pollença
8:00 p.m. Solidarity class of zumba by Aina Bordoy and Paula Bargay. Plaça de Miquel Capllonch

Wednesday, July 12
6:30 p.m. Water party, water attractions for children. Local pool. Ice cream for all children at the end of activities

Thursday, July 13
9:00 p.m. Supportive dinner for the benefit of Afama. Animation by Charanga Los Valencianos. Plaça de Miquel Capllonch
10:00 p.m. Ballroom dancing by the Galatzó orchestra. Plaça de Miquel Capllonch

Saturday, July 15
18:00 h. Contest sand castles and look for treasures inside the sea. Playa de la Gola. Water games.
9:00 p.m. Solidarity concert by Corda Amarada for the benefit of Caritas of the Port of Pollença. Church of the Mare de Déu del Carme.
10:00 p.m. Fiesta in la Gola, with Deejays Grup

Sunday, July 16
6:30 p.m. Solemn Mass in the church of the Mare de Déu del Carme, with the performance of the Cor de Colonya  interpreting the Salve Marinera and the Hymn to Carmen. Then, a sea procession with the images of San Pedro and the Virgin of Carmen.
