Festes de Sant Agustí 2023

Although not the patron saint of the village, the feast of St. Augustine is lived with great enthusiasm in Felanitx, where at this time  some of the most popular festivals of Mallorca take place. They are celebrated from August 14 to 28, with a variety of activities for all ages and tastes.

On Friday, August 18, after the reading of the proclamation by Carles Marín Lladó, will be celebrated the Nitxdelart a night of art in which various exhibitions will be inaugurated and with  music in the streets.

Another proposal is the VII Fira Nocturna de Sant Agusti  + Gastronomia de carrer, with stalls of food  trucks of different types of food. It is celebrated on Saunday 28, with the traditional parade of cavallets, cabezudos and demons.

In addition, the musical offer is very extensive, with its popular verbenas taht have made these festivals one of the most anticipated of the summer in Mallorca.

Monday August 14

Presentation of the documentary Untitled, about the artistic career of the felanitxer artist Jaume Prohens. Projection made by Aghate Jorda and Fabrizio Mari with the collaboration of Pilar Ribal.

Academic Gala. Recognition act for students who finish 4th of ESO, 2nd of Baccalaureate and 2nd year of Basic Vocational Training, Intermediate Level and Higher Level at the IES Felanitx and at the Es Lledoner Cooperative, for the effort throughout this year and obtaining of the best grades and to the students of the Conservatory who have completed their professional studies with an excellent grade in their instrumental specialty.
