The third edition of the Festival de Manga i Anjime en català presents the film Ghost Cat Anzu (2024), directed by Yoko Kuno and Nobuhiro Yamashita and with a script by Takashi Imashiro.
Karin, 11 years old, is abandoned by her father. Her grandfather, a monk who lives in a temple in a rural area of Japan, is going to take care of her. Her grandfather asks Anzu, his jovial and helpful, if somewhat capricious, ghost cat, to take care of his granddaughter. When their energetic personalities clash, sparks fly, although it may only be the beginning of a friendship.
