Filmacib, Mostra de Cinema de les Illes Balears

The Filmmakers Association of the Balearic Islands (ACIB) organizes this informative and festive meeting which will be held over two days at the Teatre Mar i Terra de Palma. Filmacib aims to promote audiovisuals made ​​by filmmakers of the Balearic Islands and at the same time promote the viewing of films that use the islands as a location setting.

Throughout these days of sessions all kinds of audiovisual production such as short films, documentaries, feature films, animation and children's films and music videos will be projected. At the close there will be the presence of Daniel Monzón, enjoying new success with the film's El niño  (The child).

In the organization of the sample, ACIB is sponsored by the Institut d'Estudis Baleàrics and the city council of Palma and the collaboration of the Archive de la Imatge i del So of the Consell de Mallorca, the Audiovisual Cluster of the Balearic Islands (CLAB) the Secondary School Son Pacs, the Maremostra festival, LADAT (Unit of Animation and Audiovisual Technologies of the Universitat de les Illes Baleares), CESAG, EDIB, CEF and producers Tomavistes and Mosaic.
