Marilén Ribot directs, produces and performs this theater show aimed at family audiences.
In Japan there is a centuries-old art called Kintsugi. When a piece of ceramic breaks, it is repaired with resin and gold dust. Thus, it becomes a unique object, endowed with a new aesthetic and a new value. Thanks to this process of separation and transformation, scars are transmuted into beauty.
Human beings act in the opposite way: very often, in order not to suffer, we avoid showing our scars by hiding behind a shell. This show invites us to embrace our wounds and sufferings to accept and beautify them.
