Gastronomy is one of the highlights of this ecological, peasant and craft fair organized by the City Council of Puigpunyent,la Associació d'artesans i Ferians de Mallorca and Puigpunyent Vui la Natura. It is celebrated during the weekend with varied activities for all ages.
Saturday, June 6
17:30 and 18:30 h. Two amusing proposals for the little ones: storytelling and face painting by Carme Mas and Montse Ruiz.
18:00 h. Herbs workshop of Mesre Biel (if you participate you must bring a liter bottle).
20:00 h. The start of the Night fair, enlivened with performances by the Batucada Pum Pum Puig and Enfocats .
21:30 h. Sopar de Fira, where you can choose between up to five dishes: Fried seafood Can Jordi Pizza, Pizza four cheeses, Barquetes and Pica-Pollo.
23:00 h. The day ends with live music by Rumba Katxai in the Plaça de l'Ajuntament.
Sunday June 7
10:30 h. Inauguration of the fair
11:30 h. Performances for children by the Cucavela group.
12:00 h. At noon, a gastronomic route offers us a journey through six restaurants of this genuine enclave of Serra de Tramuntana. Each offers one or more dishes to choose from, among which are some of the most traditional ones of the cuisine of the island like Sepia a la Mallorquina, Back of lamb, Frito Mallorquin Mallorcan sea bass, stuffed aubergines or Fideuà. And for dessert, ecological apple pie.
In the program you can find all the dishes of the six restaurants participating in the route: Es Pont, The Rose, La Vila, Can Jordi, Ses Cotxeries and Can Domingo.
