Fair Sports Nautical and Gastronomic Days Squid

The sea is the main attraction this weekend in Can Picafort. On the one hand we celebrate the Fira de l'Esport II Nàutic, with an extensive program of free nautical and aquatic activities for all visitors who want to participate.

On the other, los II Jornades Gastronòmiques del Calamar , with its center in Plaza Cervantes. On Saturday 30, from 19:30, there will be contests of tapas and show coocking by Tomeu Caldentey (the first Mallorcan to receive a Michelin star).

An hour later, in the gastronomic exhibition installed in the square, snacks and tapas tastings with squid as an ingredient, a night that will be enlivened with music by DJ Rufi. A total of fourteen restaurants serve meals in the plaza, but if you prefer to eat with a tablecloth, seven restaurants serve dishes of squid in their own premises. On Sunday 31, the gastronomic exhibition will be open from 11:00 hours.

As for the activities scheduled in la II Fira de l'Esport Nàutic, the range of possibilities is very wide, showing the public the extensive supply of water sports and water activities that can be practiced in the coastal village of Can Picafort, a paradise for all lovers of the sea.

SUP Bodyart  classes; Flyboard exhibition; initiations to SUP, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, diving and kite surfing; workshops of sailing and navigation; paddle surf laser; gimcana; Mestres d'Aixa workshops and a workshop of CPR emergency situations: kayak activities; demonstration of how a boat is assembled ..... are a sample of what is to be found these days in these great waters of the bay of Alcudia.
