ÜI is a group of six musicians from around the world who are committed to music without genre. They fusion oriental music, African sounds, strings and wind-instruments from the Mediterranean and voices of Mongolia.
In the courtyard of the Library of Can Torró de Alcúdia they present their latest work, Formentera al mundo, an album recorded in alternative sessions in Madrid, Ibiza and Formentera with their own songs.
The group is formed by Dany Awaad (bansuri), Linda Gaethe (vocals and percussion), Marta Reixach (gong, ngoni, didgeridoo, monochord and vocals), Paul Castejón (guitar, bansanz, bouzouki, duduk, bansuri and vocals) and Sergio Martinez (didgeridoo, shurti box, harmonic vocals and kargyraa).
