It is one of the most internationally projected saxophone quartets , performing regularly on stages in Spain and the UK. One of their more recent interventions have been in the international premiere of King's College London, featuring works by British composers. Its members are: Chema Bañuls, Xavier Casal, Quino Xavier Saez and Larsson.
They formed in 2007 and since then have participated in contests gathering several awards, including the II Chamber Music Villa Cox International Yamaha Competition (2009-2010) or the first edition of La Porta Clàssica Matas i Ramis, where they got the prize of honor (2011).
In this Encontre XXXIII Internacional de Compositors (International Meeting of Composers), organized by the ACA Foundation, they present Soundscop, a work that investigates the limits of sound through works of composers György Ligeti (1923-2006), Edgar Varese (1883-1965), Fuminori Tanada (1961), Georges Aperghis (1945) and Camilo Mendez (1982).
