Gonzalo del Val is one of the most outstanding drummers on the current jazz scene. With his trio line-up, he closes the 2022 Jazz Palma Festival presenting his new album, Cancionero, released by the prestigious international firm Fresh Sound New Talent and awarded best jazz album by critics at the Enderrock Awards 2021 and by the newspaper El País.
The aesthetic proposal of the formation is very varied and is conditioned by the musical concerns of the performers. His repertoire is made up of original compositions, with a special presence and interpretations of the jazz repertoire.
