This concert brings together a cast of great musicians such as Vasko Vassilev, concertmaster of Covent Garden in London, José María Gallardo del Rey, one of the most important guitarists of the currently, prominent Spanish singers such as mezzo-soprano Sandra Ferrández and baritone Javier Franco and pianist Miquel Estelrich.
It is held in the incomparable setting of the Patio de Armas of the Castell de Bellver, where they will offer a very popular program with works such as Asturias by Isaac Albéniz, a selection of the opera Carmen by Georges Bizet, Aires Gitanos by Pablo de Sarasate, the Adagio from the Concierto de Aranjuez by Joaquín Rodrigo, Spanish Popular Songs by Manuel de Falla, or some romances from the zarzuelas La Revoltosa and La Gran Vía.
The concert is organized by AULOS (Associació d'amics de la Música de les Illes Balears), the Institut d'Estudis Baleàrics del Govern de les Illes Balears and the Palma City Council, with the sponsorship of Daikin, Propiedad and Casa Martí.
