The Orquestra Simfònica de les Illes Balears offers this string and oboe concert at the Teatre Municipal de Capdepera.
Participating as soloists are Jordi Miralles (oboe), Andrei Melkumov (violin), Gabriel Martí (violin), Maria Luisa Payeras (violin), Sebastià Pou (violin), Sonia Krasnova (viola), Gloria Grati (viola), Ella Mihailenko (cello ), Wojciech Sobolewski (double bass) and Pedro Aguiló (harpsichord).
The program consists of Concerto for oboe and orchestra, by Alessandro Marcello; Concerto for viola and orchestra, by Georg Philipp Telemann; Te Deum, by Marc Antoine Charpentier; Ave Maria, by J.S. Bach / Ch. Gounod; Badinerie suite nº 2, by JS Bach; Salut d'amour op. 12, by Edward Elgar; O mio bambino caro, by G. Puccini; Sobiney, by Ernesto Lecuona; Tango scant of woman, by Carlos Gardel; and Heliotrope bouquet, by Scott Joplin.
