The jazz vibraphonist and composer Gunter Greffenius (Germany, 1940) studied classical piano but he was soon attracted by Lionel Hampton, the first jazz vibraphonist and one of the great figures of the genre. He created his first band in 1957, Blue Bird Swingtett, and in 1972 abandoned his active musical career but returned to the stage in 2003.
In this concert accompanied by pianist Thilo Wagner, with Toni Cuenca (bass) and Toni Cuenca Jr. (drums).
