The career of Joan Sureda took off in 2008, when he won first prize in the First Contest of Plastic Arts in Can Picafort (Mallorca). Since then his work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions not only in Mallorca and other places of the Spanish territory, but also in London, Berlin or in the International Fair Kunstart of Bolzano (Italy).
In Harmonia de Blaus (Harmony in Blue), already exhibited in other parts of the island he presents a series of paintings in which blue in all its shades, is the dominant color. Each of the paintings is inspired by the titles that the French composer Claude Debussy put to his preludes.
The inauguration on August 24 (20:00 pm) will be accompanied by a piano concert of his son, Juan Sureda.
