Last September, the film director Juan Andrés Mateos, born in Cádiz and resident of Artà for 19 years died suddenly. Mateos, who in addition to being a filmmaker was an economist, directed two films, La corteza and Mírame, and the fictional documentary Suicidio.
The City Council of Artà pays tribute to him with this event in which his work and emblematic moments of his life will be remembered.
