The apricot is the most typical and representative product of the municipality of Porreres in Mallorca. The City Council, with the collaboration of the Agricultural Cooperative and Merchants Association, organizes the second fair around this fruit which now is in full harvest.
Will be participating both apricots producers registered in the municipality as owners of land with apricot trees within their boundaries. Besides the exhibition and sale of apricots and their products, there will be various competitions, including one of sweet cakes and tapas made with this fruit of plated or apricots.
Presented will also be the exhibition Sequer. Una història de l'albercoc de Porreres in La Caixa and a photography exhibition.
The program of the fair includes nearly a month, with different activities in the village.
