The Deià International Music Festival celebrates this extraordinary concert in memory of its founder, the American musician Patrick Meadows (1934-2017). Meadows and his partner Stephanie Shepard (deceased in 2005), created in 1978 this festival dedicated to chamber music.
With participation of the Russian String Orchestra, created in 1991 by its director Misha Rachlevsky, who conducts this concert. The program consists of works by Franz Schubert, Arnold Schoenberg, T. Schnauber and P.I. Tchaikovsky.
