Titled Expiració (Expiration), the exhibition represents a turning point in the trajectory of Susy Gomez (Pollença, 1965), who until now understood installations as an organizing system of spaces and not as a separate genre. It features architectural elements and furniture taken from demolitions of buildings of the last century, beams, hydraulic floors, appliances and other household and industrial goods subjected to temperatures above 250 degrees.
It is an invitation to think with a comprehensive view of self and how it relates to the world. The political and social aspect is revealed in a reading that weaves questions regarding morality. It encourages the viewer to detect automatic ramblings, false beliefs and the need to identify with a single form.
