Idea. Donde nada ocurre es (Idea. Where nothing happens) is the title of the exhibition of Irene de Andrés Ibiza (1986) closing the cycle (Hiper) víncles, which has involved several artists and has been exhibited at the Casal Solleric.
Through photographs, videos, views and press releases, Irene Andres reconstructs the history of the club Idea in the Bay of Sant Antoni de Portmany of Ibiza. An unfinished building whose concrete and iron structure has been part of the landscape for twenty years, until in 2011 it was demolished and the site used as parking.
For the artist, "the unfinished structure reflects the frustrated ambitions in a society that paid off in the real estate boom and now collects its waste."
