In 2004 he made his debut at the Wigmore Hall in London and since then this Spanish pianist enjoys a career as a soloist and chamber musician which has led him to play in major concert halls in Europe, South America and the East.
Javier Negrin has won major awards in competitions and numerous awards for his interpretations of Schumann, Chopin, Brahms and Ravel. Critics call him an intuitive interpreter and with great intellectual capacity. In September 2015 will be released his latest album, a recording of Goyescas by Enrique Granados and Variations on a Theme of Chopin by Federico Mompou.
Negrin closes the Chopin Festival with a program consisting of Sonata No. 5 in C minor, Op. 10 No. 1, Beethoven; Nocturne op. 27, No. 2, Scherzo No. 2, op. 31 and Scherzo No. 3, op. 39 Frederic Chopin; 24 Preludes, Op. 11 Alexandre Scriabin.
