Fundació Miró Mallorca celebrates International Jazz Day, April 30, with a day full of music and art with Joan Miró and jazz as the central axis. It starts at 4:30 pm with a master class by Ignasi Terraza.
It continued at 19:00 with Imaginant Miró, which includes a concert by Ignasi Terraza (piano), Horacio Fumero (double bass) and Esteve Pi (drums); Miró and Jazz, talk of Aránzazu Miró; screening of the short film Blues for Joan Miró (1966), with Duke Ellington and Joan Miró; and the performances of the Small Jazz Band and the Escola de música Ireneu Segarra .
