Jesus Christ Superstar

Spectacular production of this famous rock opera that brings on stage more than 40 artists, actors and musicians, under the direction of Jaume García Serra. It is based on the original version of the full script  of Tim Rice and music by Andrew Lloyd Weber in dramatized concert format.

Jesus Christ Superstar  was first released as a concept album in 1970 and a year later made ​​the leap to the Broadway stages. This is a free adaptation of the Gospels which takes place during the last week of the life of Jesus, where the personal and political confrontations between Jesus and Judas Iscariot are highlighted. It starts at Bethany on the Thursday preceding the entry into Jerusalem and ends with the Crucifixion.
