A concert with two great musicians to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the great demonstration to celebrate the self-government of Mallorca. The concert is free and is organized by the Consell de Mallorca, with the collaboration of the Ajuntament de Palma.
The Majorcan Joan Miquel Oliver, ex- composer and guitarist of the group Antònia Font, is one of the most valued musicians of the national panorama. From 2013 he developed a solo career that has led him to publish nine albums, the latest Atlantis (2017). He has also published a book of poems, three novels and a play.
Manel is a pop group from Barcelona created in 2007 by Arnau Vallvé (vocals, drums and percussion), Martí Maymó (bass, clarinet and flute), Roger Padilla (guitar, banjo, mandola and ukelele) and Guillem Gisbert (lead vocals, ukelele and guitar). They have recorded four albums, the latest Jo competeixo (2016).
