First exhibition in Mallorca of young Catalan artist Joan Saló entitled Quidquid latine dictum est, altum videtur. He presents a selection of works created between 2013 and 2014 in medium and large format.
Despite his youth, Joan Saló work presents a very personal and recognized formal language. His canvases, full of colour, are configured through very precise repetitive almost obsessive strokes, made with coloured pens. In them he repeats to infinity vertical lines which construct patterns, and that refer to the yarn or textile prints or to encoded video channels.
