Second solo exhibition of Portuguese artist Joana Vasconcelos (1971) in the Gallery Horrach Moya. Twelve unpublished new works specially designed for this space that combine works with ceramic tiles, crochet and Murano glass, and reflect and continue the search for new directions in the work of the artist.
The exhibition can be seen at the newly opened Horrach Moya space housed in a former manor of the nineteenth century, Cas Patró in the historical maritime center of Palma .
Vasconcelos is one of the most acclaimed artists in the current international art scene, in which she has triumphed with her latest project, Trafaria Praia, as an artist representing her country in the pavilion of Portugal in the 55th Venice Biennale 2013.
