The VIII Setmana de Música Antiga Colònia de Sant Pere organizes this day open to the public but with a sectoral focus and of great interest for composers and music lovers.
The day will be about the latest edition of sheet music and the oral transmission of repertoires. The speakers will include Jaume Ayats, Raúl Angulo and Antoni Pons, musicologists, and Peter Hanser-Strecker, president of the Schott publishing house (founded in Mainz in 1770).
The VIII Setmana de Música Antiga (Antiga Music Week) is celebrated from July 18 to 27 and is organized by the Music Association of the Colònia de Sant Pere.
