The cycle Tardor Poètica 2020 programs this recital by Josep Maria Martí Duran, one of the world's greatest specialists in plucked string. He presents his latest work Ad Álgea, the result of the search around the possibilities of the theorbo from the repertoires in which he has specialized in the last ten years of his career: the operas of Georg Friedrich Händel and Henry Purcell.

Ad Álgea (2020) is the first solo theorbo recital that Josep Maria Martí Duran has recorded, and also a choral project that also has a text where the writer Ramón Andrés evokes the historical and mythological sources from which the music is inspired.
