Laia Puig (cello) and Elizabeth Felix (piano) offer a program consisting of: n.1 Sonata in A major G 13 (L. Boccherini), à l'Louange Eternité of Jesus (Quatour pour la fin du temps) (O. Messiaen), Three Pieces for Cello and Piano (N. Boulanger) and Sonata in D minor Op 40 (D. Shostakovich).
In addition to being performers, they both also develop a role as teacher, currently at the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands, Laia Puig as associate professor of cello, and Elizabeth Felix as tenured professor.
The concert is part of the cycle Concerts of Teachers at the Conservatory of Music of the Balearic Islands 2013, organized by the teachers themselves in collaboration with the Conservatory, Alma Concerts and the International Music Festival Deia.
