'Les flames a la fosca'

Musical encounters in la Petita presents this proposal by pianist Andreu Riera. A concert created from thirteen poems by Bartomeu Rosselló-Pòrcel and which aims to recreate the intimate character that could recall the musical evenings of the nineteenth century, specifically the genre of the Lied that was played in the field of so-called Hauskonzerte (private house concerts ).

It is ordered according to an imagined plot, in which two determinants feelings are present: the nostalgia for the homeland and the innate fear of the creative artist in the absence of inspiration and the conflict that occurs before a blank paper.
