It is the last album of this singer-songwriter, poet, painter and film director who now presents live in a very particular format he calls 'cinema concert’ in the monastery of Monti·sion (Porreres). And, prior to the performance, the animated film El niño y el basilisco will be projected, twenty minutes long and with pencil drawings done by the artist himself.
This movie is included in the DVD format of the disk El niño que miraba al mar (The child that looked at the sea, 2012), whose cover is a photo of Luis Eduardo Aute with two years old at the pier of Manila, the city he was born in 1943.
Cinema, as well as painting, has been part of the creative universe of this artist from the start, even before music. His first solo exhibition was carried out in Madrid in 1960 and a year later he directed his first short film, Senses.
In 1967 he released his first single, Don Ramon / Made in Spain, leading to a musical career of great success with well known themes like Cine Cine, Una de dos or siento que te estoy perdiendo, among others.
