Luna returns to the stage with the same lineup it had between 1999 and 2005, the time of their separation: Dean Wareham (former member of Galaxie 500), Britta Phillips, Lee Wall and Sean Eden. The New York-based indie pop band was formed in 1991 and their third album, Penthouse (1995), was declared by Rolling Stone as one of the essential albums of the nineties.
In this reunion concert - one of the sweetest and unexpected of the season they will do a review of their eight released albums with their immersive melodies.
On the same night will also perform Misery Strings, which in 2014 published his latest album The red witch. Stories from the swamp. The group was created by Tomeu Coll and Miquel Puigserver in 2002 and was more recently joined by Carlos Castro and Jorge Vaquer. Their debut did not come until 2011 with Adventures in Badlands, which already pointed to an experimental folk conjugated to other genres such as punk and rock from Hell.
Among their musical influences are included Captain Beefheart, Sonic Youth, Tom Waits or Harry Smith; among the literary, Americans William S. Burroughs or Oakley Hall. These references make them one of the most unique bands of the Majorcan scene.
