The Catalan pop group Manel present their third and latest album, Atletes, baixin de l’escenari (2013). This famous phrase was pronounced in off by the recently deceased Constantino Romero at the closure of the Barcelona 92 Olympic Games, when athletes from various delegations took the field during the performance of Peret and Los Manolos.
In 2007 they won the demo competition Sona9 and the Youth Award, and since then they have not stopped growing. In fact, Manel has become the first Catalan group which has managed to reach number 1 in sales in the Spanish market. The group is formed by Guillem Gisbert, Martí Maymó, Roger Padilla and Arnau Vallvé.
The last time they performed at the Teatre Principal de Palma was to present their previous work 10 milles per veure una bona armadura. Now they are back with Atletes, Baixin de l'Escenari.
