The Virgin of the Health is Patron Saint of Palma and for one week the city lives a big festival replete with activities (music concerts, amateur theater representations, solidarity markets etc.). In the day of the Holy (Setember 8), there is very showy parade of citizens of Palma dressed with typical suits from Mallorca. They perform a floral gift to the image of the virgin, who resides in the church of Sant Miquel.
During these days also held other activities as an exhibition of giants Mallorca, International Ella Festival (September 1 to 9), a Medieval Market Gastronomic Culture and the Regional Houses (from 10 to 13) and the XIX Meeting Giants of Palma and IX of Mallorca (13 September).
