Maria del Mar Bonet sings Mallorcan poets

The Majorcan singer-songwriter reviews in this concert the most known songs of her long career. With particular reference to the poets of Mallorca, like Bartomeu Pòrcel Rossello, Joan Alcover, Blai Bonet and Miquel Costa i Llobera.

Among the poems to which she will put her voice will be Cançó de na Ruixa Mantells, Desolació or Mallorca, durant la Guerra civil. She will be accompanied on accordion and piano by Dani Espasa.

This concert is held in the framework of the commemoration of La Diada de Mallorca (National Day of Mallorca) and puts the finishing touch to the program La Lluna en vers (The moon in verse) organized between June and September, by the Foundation House Museum Llorenç Villalonga, Pare Ginard and Blai Bonet. Includes the cycle Els vins en vers  (The wines in verse), with the collaboration of the wineries and the Regulatory Council of the DO Binissalem and consists in the presentation and tasting of a wine. This time the choice of wine is Rosat i Criança Albaflor of Vins Nadal.
