The German organist Martin Schmeding opens the 5th International Music Festival Vila de Santanyí with this concert in the parish church.
Martin Schmeding (Minden, Westphalia, 1975) is an organist of the churches of Nazareth in Hannover, Neander in Düsseldorf and in the Kreuzkirche in Dresden, professor at the University of Music in Friborg and director of the Organ Academy of Europe.
Schmeding has made numerous recordings, among them the complete organ work of F. Schmidt, J. Brahms and Felix Mendelssohn.
