Tierra de nadie. El humus de la memoria (No Man's Land. The humus of memory) is the title of this exhibition showing the latest work of Mercedes Laguens, artist from Zaragoza residing in Mallorca since 1978. The series consists of paintings, drawings, prints and ceramics.
Laguens conceives Tierra de nadie (Nowhere Land) as "the place that represents the moment (...), that empty space that no one and nothing occupies the space where everything is possible, the space that appears behind the apparent, the place in which arise unanswered questions (...) ".
