Michael Lington

This Danish saxophonist, naturalized in the United States, is one of the most recognized in the current jazz scene, especially of smooth jazz. In 2008 he published Heat, which reached the Top 5 on the list of contemporary jazz of Billboard and was elected JazzTrax album of the year.

His latest work is Pure (2012), where Michael Lington returns to soul-jazz that recalls the glory days of contemporary jazz. He opens the new edition of Mallorca Smooth Jazz Festival, which takes place from May 3 to 5 in Sa Coma (Mallorca).
