The cycle The film composers in concert dedicates this event to the composer and French singer Michel Legrand (Paris, 1932). Throughout his career he has composed the soundtrack for over two hundred films, having won three Oscars for The Umbrellas of Cherbourg (1965), The Thomas Crown Affair (1968) and Summer of '42 (1971). He has been nominated for the Grammy Award 27 times, receiving five statuettes.
Organised by the Balearic Association of Friends of the soundtracks (ABABS), this cycle projects film music concerts directed by the great masters.
