'Microcosmos', by Miao Xiaochun

In collaboration with Casa Asia, Es Baluard presents this individual proposal of Miao Xiaochun (Wuxi, 1964), one of the most important Chinese artists in the field of media art.

Xiaochun focuses his work on subjective interpretations of works of art of the great masters of Western art history using the latest technologies, digital media and software of graphics animation.

In Microcosmos, shown in sala Aljub  addresses through 3D technology, the triptych The Garden of Earthly Delights  by Hieronymus Bosch (1450-1516).A  Rereading of the old fable which Miao Xiaochun turns into a contemporary story, where sound and image are fused with the Overture to Tannhäuser by Richard Wagner.
